Product Description

The Destiny Jacket

Well after a lot of waiting and deliberating The Indiana Jones Store have now decided to launch there our own version of the Destiny Jacket.

We have been inundated with calls, emails, and messages from our customer base around the World wanting to know when our version of the jacket would be released (Well Here it is in all its Glory)

This jacket has been such a pleasure to work on and even if we say so ourselves, we think this is one of the best jackets we have ever produced.

The skin is amazing, Soft, Ribby and has a Great Undertone, so once it is distressed it will look fantastic.

These jackets are Custom Made Only, they will come as standard with Cotton Lining & Satin Sleeves, Brass D-Rings and best of all they will come with the Wested Leather & Made in England Labels.

The bullet hole repair is not included as standard but can be added as an extra in the drop down boxes, as after some market research we found not all customers wanted the Stitch Repair although we think it looks great and adds the final finishing touch to the jacket.

As we know our customers very well we will still have the standard options available for you if you wish to change the lining etc.

Jacket Features:

New Collar Shape

Zip all the way to the bottom

Slightly Shorter Back Length

Wider Storm Flap

Scalloped Pocket Flaps

Side Straps Reversed

No Stitching Around the Hem

Bullet Hole (Optional Extra)

NOTE: These Jackets are custom Made Only to the sizes you put in the drop down boxes so this chart is for a guide only.

NOTE: The jacket does not come distressed but has the perfect undertone so once you have it distressed will look just perfect.

These jackets will be around 6-8 weeks for delivery.

How to Measure

A: Chest - Take a measurement under your arms, beneath the fullest part of the chest

B: Pit to Pit - This represents the measurement of the jacket laid out flat, zipped up and measured from side to side (this is not your body measurement)

C: Sleeve Length - This is the measurement taken from the top of the shoulder, more specifically from the shoulder seam

D: Back Length - Take a measurement from the nape (back) of your neck to where you would like the jacket to end

E: Shoulder - Take a measurement from your neck to the top of your shoulder

*Our advice for best results - take all measurements over a t-shirt. If your measurements fall between sizes, we recommend that you take a size up to ensure a better fit.

You know how long I’ve been looking for that?

What an iconic jacket! Think I’ve wanted one since I first watched Raiders as a kid! I’ve owned many leather jackets over the years but none really lived up to the expectations of the one true jacket! Even the original series ones I was wary of buying given the reviews on how thin the leather was. In honesty one wants a good leather jacket that can stand up to a bit of agro and not just a cosplay prop. Seeing the specs on this jacket and the online reviews I think I chose wisely. The fit is exceptional. The leather is frankly a dream! The thickness is just right to be flexible but also stand up to proper use. The grain on this is beautiful and other than a few brown smudged clothes initially as the top layer of stain wears ( my fault as I couldn’t stop wearing it!) it has worn in amazingly. I’ve seen videos suggesting using green pads etc to wear the leather but it’s really not necessary with this jacket as it just wants to do the job for you. Sleeves shorten slightly as creases form in the arms so err on the side of longer I would suggest. I was very worried when ordering I’d end up with sleeves too long but measure against a suit jacket and look at the shoulder length and this seems to work. I went with the recommended cotton lining and satin sleeves and this works well as easy for sliding arms in but not synthetic and sweaty on the back. The inside pockets are very useful and I got the gusset for arm manoeuvrability which with the slightly thicker leather works well. If I have any criticism it is that the D ring on the right slips out as the strap is very slightly narrower on that side on mine so allows the two D’s to slide through each other. . The stitching is solid on the jacket (I’ve seen a few comments on previous jackets on chats) so please have no fears! I went full geek and got the bullet hole which is totally frivolous but looks great!

So in summary- this is a great movie prop for hardcore cosplayers but more importantly for those of us wanting an iconic functional jacket this really fits the bill! Look carefully at the options as in my mind they are important if you’re planning to use this as a proper jacket especially the gusset. The bullet hole is totally unnecessary but looks kinda cool! It’s gonna shed some stains as the leather wears. Remember sleeves shorten with wear/creases.

Get one of these jackets - stop procrastinating, I’m embarrassed the money I’ve wasted over the years buying leather jackets that were close but not the real thing. Very happy customer!

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review it really is much appreciated.
